Church Links

We have very strong links with St Mary the Virgin Church in Padbury. They help the children develop an awareness of the Christian culture inherent in our society. Sandra Cosby leads our weekly Collective Worship and Bridgebuilder, a Christian charity, lead an active collective worship half termly. We visit the church regularly to link with our curriculum units as well as attending services through the year. The photographs above show KS2 visiting the church for Candlemas on 2nd February. Each child took home a blessed candle and a book mark with a Candlemas prayer.
