If children need to have medicine administered during the school day, all medicines must be taken to the school office and handed in. We can only administer medicines prescribed by a doctor, that arrives with a doctor's label attached clearly identifying the child and dosage instructions. If medicine is needed to be administered three times a day, we advise this is done at home; before school, after school and at bedtime. If it is four times a day, we will administer one dose in the school day. The form below will need to be printed and signed and given into when the medicine first comes into school. We cannot administer pain relief such as Calpol or Ibuprofen. If you feel your child might need this through the school day, we advise you to come and administer this to your child at either playtime or lunchtime.
