Play Leaders

Play leaders are an important part of school life at Padbury CE School. The children, selected by their peers, help run and organise games for the whole school during lunchtimes, 3 days a week. We have a Sports Specialist join us who trains the children and ensures they continue to deliver high quality games. As leaders, the children develop their leadership skills. They are role models for others and they learn how best to motivate and encourage small groups of children of all different ages. All the children respect the play leader role and enjoy being guided by their peers.
