At Padbury, our vision drives everything we do. That is:
‘Shine as a light before others so that we can all be the Best that we Can Be.'
Put simply we want pupils to:
- Know that they can shine and achieve in many ways.
- Know that they can make a difference to others in how they live, however small it may seem.
- Be the best they can be in everything.
As a Christian school, we use the bible verse of Matthew 5:14-16
'You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.
The concept of us shining and taking our lights to others guides and underpins everything we do. This ensures that our growth and development in every aspect of life is encouraged, nurtured and valued. While we are a Church school and live according to Christian values, we welcome all children and adults to our school of all faiths or none.
